Cupids Against Cancer
Mona’s Boys are proud to participate in the Annual Cupids Against Cancer show.

Each year around the February 14th date, Mona’s Boys donate an evening of music for a Valentine’s dance in memory of Katie MacDonald, a high school student in Burlington who died of cancer in 2004. Katie’s wish was that money raised from the annual benefit be donated to assist children who are battling cancer.

In the February, 2007 show, over $20,000 was raised at this event. Each year the fundraiser takes place at the Oakville Convention Centre. Click on www.cupidsagainstcancer.com

Mona's Boys and Minor Hockey
Mona's Boys sponsored two minor hockey teams that had huge success this year!

The Burlington Blues Peewee Select Team had a tremendous season and qualified for the Ontario Finals in Fort Erie. They lost in the semi-final round. The second team, The Burlington Bulldogs City Rep Team won the Alliance Championship, and were one of 5 teams to advance to the Ontario Championship in Timiskaming, Ontario. They lost a heartbreaker in overtime in the semi-finals!

Congratulations to both minor hockey league teams from Mona's Boys!
